Responsibilities
  1. Works directly with the Executive Director to establish Art for All’s mission and vision.

  2. Preside over all meetings of the board and develops meeting agendas with ED. 

  3. Performs other duties assigned by the ED and the Board of Directors.

  4. Oversee operations of the Board.

  5. Sign legal documents authorized by the Board.

  6. Appoint Ad Hoc Committees as necessary to carry out the purposes of the Board and perform other duties as assigned by the Board of Directors.

  7. Non-incumbent President’s duty to update nonprofit’s Employer Identification Number as the new responsible party by completing the Change of Address or Responsible Party (IRS Form No. 8822-B) and submitting it to the IRS within Thirty (30) days of taking office.

Responsibilities

  1. Performs President’s duties when they are unavailable.

  2. Oversees Board development, actively recruits diverse new board members. 

  3. Performs other duties assigned by the ED or the Board of Directors.

Responsibilities

  1. Maintains records of board meetings to ensure effective management of Art for All’s records.

  2. Distributes meeting agendas and meeting notices in accordance with the provisions of the bylaws.

  3. Maintain meeting minutes, and ensure each member receives copies of the minutes in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  1. Responsible for ensuring that an accurate account of monies received and disbursed is kept and that financial statements are prepared and presented at each regular Board meeting.

  2. Reviews budget and financially advises the Board of Directors and ED.

  3. Reports financial irregularities, concerns, and opportunities to the Board.

  4. Perform other duties as assigned by the Board President or Board of Directors.

  5. Files annual 990 with the IRS no later than May 15th of each year.

  6. Completes a NC form E-585 on semiannual basis for the NC Department of Revenue.

Responsibilities

  1. Will be hired by a vote of the Board and report to the Board.

  2. Shall hire and supervise staff, as necessary, to carry out the work of the organization.

  3. Attend all Board meetings as a voting member.

  4. Appoint Ad Hoc Committees as necessary to carry out the purposes of the Board and perform other duties as assigned by the Board of Directors.

  5. Perform other duties as assigned by the Board of Directors or the Board President.

  6. In the absence of an Executive Director, the Board of Directors will implement the Succession Plan.

Responsibilities

  1. Follow the organization’s bylaws, policies, and board resolutions.

  2. Sign an annual conflict-of-interest disclosure and update it during the year if necessary, as well as disclose potential conflicts before meetings and actual conflicts during meetings.

  3. Maintain confidentiality about all internal matters of the Organization.

  4. Act as a fiduciary for the organization.

  5. Financially support the organization with at least an annual donation of any amount.

  6. Be engaged as a shared leader in governing the organization.

  7. Actively participate through volunteerism, fundraising and recruitment.

  8. Actively seek educational opportunities to better understand and develop the Board and the organization.

  9. Participate in annual 360 degree reviews.

  10. Cultivate a culture of constructive conflict where we challenge the status quo and purposefully prompt critical discussion when things become too routine.

  11. Cultivate a mission based culture that is constituency driven.
