Ashley Harrington is a self-taught painter from Raleigh, North Carolina, where she currently resides. She works with acrylic paints exploring identity and emotional expression through gestural female forms. Harrington's work is deeply inspired by her recent inner journey, fueled by journaling and meditation, which has reignited her connection with the self. Artworks for the fundraiser are from her past collections inspired by nature. Elements from these past works are reflected in her current figure work with bright colors, organic shapes and dynamic compositions. Ashley is currently a Resident Artist at 311 Gallery with a selection of her works on view.
