Inga Martinez | Inga's Art from the Heart

My first experience with painting in oil started in 1995 in Germany. After I immigrated with my family in 1998 to Raleigh, NC, I was a homemaker raising two small children. This gave me the opportunity in the year 2000 to be part of the Monday morning painting class at Pullen Park in Raleigh with Don Mason. Over the years, I took several classes in Pullen and Sertoma Park with accomplished artists Mary-Ann Jenkins, Leslie Pruneaux, and Larry Dean, improving my skills regularly. In 2016, I started to be part of the Thursday morning painting group at Sertoma Park. After a major life change, I began to work full time in 2017. Since then, my ability to paint regularly was reduced because of time issues. Though I continue to paint at home at a leisurely pace.
