Happy New Year, AFA Community!

As we welcome a new year, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for the vibrant community we've built and the incredible art we've brought to life together. Reflecting on the past year, I’m excited to share some highlights of what we’ve accomplished and the meaningful ways we’ve engaged with our community.

Our Achievements in 2024

  • We facilitated four design workshops and created three large murals across two Wake County Public Schools, transforming community ideas into stunning artwork that will stand as a legacy for generations.

  • We received a generous art supplies donation from the Jewish Community Center—an incredible boost to our mission!

  • The Activate Good Youth Volunteer Corps joined us to create AFA T-shirts at BaySix’s Space for Good.

  • Sarah Ann Austin collaborated with over 350 Garner Middle School students to craft a massive paper quilt, showcased at both the Garner Performing Arts Center and Sertoma Arts Center.

  • This fall, I attended the 125th Association of Landscape Architecture Conference in Washington, D.C. I participated in a sketch crawl of the city’s monuments and discovered awe-inspiring public art—a truly enriching experience!

    Looking Ahead

Since August 2024, AFA activities have slowed down as I’ve taken an educational leave to pursue my Master’s in Landscape Architecture and Environmental Planning. This journey will empower Art For All to envision and execute larger-scale public art projects that beautifully integrate art and the natural environment. You can read more about this transition and my vision for AFA on our website [here].

But the creative spirit of AFA is far from dormant! We’re gearing up for some exciting initiatives:

    • Spring 2025: We’ll be organizing an Art Supplies Drive to support two Wake County Public Schools. Stay tuned for updates and opportunities to contribute!

    • Summer 2025: A Community Art Experience™ is in the works, and we can’t wait to share the details soon!

    Support Our Mission

If you’re inspired by the work we do, please consider making a tax-deductible donation to Art For All. Your generosity enables us to continue creating transformative art experiences and supporting arts education in our community. Every contribution makes a difference. You can donate [here].

As we step into this new year, I am deeply inspired by the possibilities ahead and grateful for your continued support and enthusiasm. Together, we’ll keep creating art that unites and uplifts our community.

Wishing you a joyful, creative, and prosperous New Year!

    Warm Regards,

    Jennifer Seaver
